Head of Finance

Job Description : Head of Finance | Abu Dhabi I am currently working on an exciting Head of Finance mandate with a growing private investment platform in the UAE. Reporting directly to the CEO, this is a senior and highly visible appointment with responsibility for building and leading an institutional-quality finance function across the corporate entity, investment vehicles and SPV structures. The role combines strategic finance leadership with hands-on oversight of a complex investment environment, working closely with the CEO, Board, investors, lenders and external advisers. Key areas of responsibility will include: Leadership of the Finance function, financial strategy and governance Budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and Board-level performance analysis Oversight of financial controls, accounting policies and treasury Group and SPV-level accounting, consolidation and intercompany reconciliations Cash flow management and short-term liquidity forecasting across multiple entities Debt facility management, covenant monitoring and lender reporting Capital calls, drawdowns, investor distributions and waterfall calculations Fund flows across investors, SPVs and lenders Management and performance fee calculations Corporate tax, VAT, audit and statutory reporting Investor reporting, fundraising and financial due diligence Oversight of banking relationships, auditors, tax advisers and external service providers Supporting the CEO and senior leadership on strategic planning and corporate development The ideal candidate will be: A professionally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent) with significant senior finance experience gained within an investment management, private equity, real estate investment, family office or broader financial services environment. You will need to be equally comfortable operating strategically with senior stakeholders while remaining close enough to the detail to ensure the underlying finance infrastructure, controls and reporting are best-in-class. Experience working across funds, SPVs, investment structures, debt facilities and investor reporting would be particularly relevant.
