Corporate Principal Geologist

Job Description : Corporate Principal Geologist – Base & Precious Metals for a major mining operator in the Middle East. Approx 50% field based, the role will lead exploration programmes across copper-gold and associated base metals, taking targets from prospect generation and maturation through drill testing and resource definition. Strong mineral exploration experience is essential, with proven expertise in geological and structural mapping, geochemistry and geophysics, target generation, RC and diamond drilling, sampling and QA/QC, geological modelling and resource evaluation. Extensive experience in VMS copper-gold systems, with exposure to orogenic and epithermal gold and porphyry systems is required. A Bachelor's degree in Geology or Earth Sciences is essential, alongside experience in technical reporting to JORC 2012 and NI 43-101 standards.
