Job Description : Head- Control & Instrumentation NIGERIA Qualifications and Experience • BE/BTech in Instrumentation or Electronics engineering • Should possess 18+ years of experience in Dual Fuel Combined cycle Power Plant as Control and Instrumentation specialist • Must be working as Head- C&I for 2+ years in Dual Fuel Combined cycle Power Plant • Expert in overall Plant control systems and Instruments • Should have hands on experience on Mark V /VI Gas turbine control systems ,DCS and PLCs. • Should have good knowledge and experience to handle the Plant Instrumentation and Communication systems. Responsibility • Preparation of the Annual Maintenance plan and budget for the C&I department in consultation with other maintenance departments • Prepare the department targets and monitor the performance review on regular basis. • Prepare the Maintenance schedules on monthly, quarterly and annual basis by considering OEMs recommendations and also based on past experience. • Implementation of all maintenance schedules as per approved ones in coordination with operation and other maintenance departments. • Ensure healthiness of Control systems ,DCS,PLCs and other communication networks at all times. • Responsible to analyze the trip incidents in coordination with Operation team and derive the conclusions. • Co-ordination and planning of maintenance jobs during shut down with other maintenance department Leads. • Responsible for ensuring compliance to the Statutory and other requirements related to all Control and Instrumentation. • Identification of spares, consumables and coordinate with purchase department till they are available at stores. • Responsible to mobilize the resources required to execute all maintenance schedules in coordination with Client. • To maintain Instruments history cards
