FACILITY DIRECTOR

Job Description : FACILITY DIRECTOR UAE lead the overall facilities management, maintenance, and engineering operations of our pharmaceutical site. The ideal candidate will ensure the facility operates in full compliance with GMP, regulatory, and safety standards while optimizing operational efficiency, uptime, and cost-effectiveness. Responsibilities 1) Oversee all facility operations, including HVAC, utilities, MEP systems, cleanrooms, and building infrastructure 2) Ensure compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice), FDA, WHO, and other applicable pharma regulatory standards 3) Manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs for critical utilities (HVAC, purified water systems, compressed air, chillers, boilers, etc.) 4) Lead facility validation, qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ), and calibration activities in coordination with QA/QC 5) Manage capital projects, facility upgrades, and expansions 6) Develop and manage facility budgets, ensuring cost control and resource optimization 7) Ensure EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) compliance across the facility 8) Lead audits and inspections (internal, regulatory, and third-party) related to facility and utility systems 9) Manage vendor contracts, service providers, and outsourced facility services 10) Supervise and mentor facility engineering and maintenance teams 11) Implement sustainability and energy efficiency initiatives 12) Ensure business continuity and emergency preparedness planning Requirements: 1) Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field 2) Minimum 10-15 years of experience in facility management, with mandatory experience in the Pharmaceutical industry 5) Strong knowledge of GMP, FDA, and pharma regulatory compliance requirements 6) Experience with cleanroom operations, HVAC validation, and critical utility systems 7) Proven track record managing facility teams and large-scale maintenance operations 8) Strong understanding of EHS regulations and risk management 9) Experience with facility audits, validation protocols, and regulatory inspections 10) Excellent leadership, communication, and vendor management skills
