MAINTENANCE ENGINEER

Job Description : MAINTENANCE ENGINEER NIGERIA 15+ years experience Make scheduled checks on machinery and parts and organizing routine and preventive servicing schedules. Conduct root cause analysis of frequent machine breakdowns and provide preventive maintenance services. Responsible for proper oiling, cleaning and repairing machinery and parts. Responsible for overhauling and replacing parts according to schedule. Provide prompt response to breakdowns and resolve the issue as quickly as possible. Issuing requisition slips to store to get spares and maintain record of all spares stock and supplies. Attendance and leave record of team and making shift schedule. Learn new skills and attend training programs in other to increase knowledge of trends and best practices in the industry. Provide safe working environment for workers, and ensure accidents and mishaps are prevented. Facilitate shifting of Machine, according to the Plan given by Technical Head and stopping old connection and starting new connection of utility.(Gas, Electricity, water etc.). Conduct schedule and preventive maintenance of gas and diesel generators (as specified by the manufacturer) Checking and keeping record of temperature and Air Pressure of compressor for Air compression. Helping people in implementing the Kaizen (People have concept and they create working models). Maintaining record of breakdowns, Air compressor readings and preventive maintenances Training people under him on Safety and how to use PPE Maintaining 5 S and training people under them on 5 S People Management Build harmonious and conducive working environment with zero tolerance for any unethical, indiscipline or unrest Team Control manpower attrition and absenteeism Motivate, monitor and manage team in a high Growth environment.
