Job Description : CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER – METALS & MINING** ???? **Location:** UAE ???? **Sector:** Metal Recycling | Non-Ferrous Metals | Trading | Manufacturing We are seeking an experienced **Chief Operating Officer (COO)** to lead the growth and operations of an integrated metals business with interests across **recycling, manufacturing, international trading and market expansion**. The role will have **end-to-end P&L responsibility** across sourcing, plant operations, metal trading, finished-goods sales and overall business growth, with a strong focus on **Aluminium and Copper**. ### ???? Key Responsibilities • Lead overall business operations, commercial strategy and P&L • Drive scrap sourcing, procurement and supplier development • Oversee plant operations, production and supply chain • Lead international metal trading and finished-goods sales • Identify new markets and drive business expansion • Improve profitability, operational efficiency and working capital • Build and lead high-performing teams across operations, sourcing, trading and sales ### ???? Candidate Profile • **20–25+ years** of experience in the metals industry • Strong exposure to **Non-Ferrous Metals – Aluminium and/or Copper** • Experience across **recycling, manufacturing and international metal trading** • Strong understanding of bulk scrap procurement and sourcing • Proven P&L, commercial and business-growth experience • Experience managing large cross-functional teams • **UAE/GCC exposure or upstream/mining experience** would be an advantage ???? **Looking for:** A strategic yet hands-on leader who can manage the complete value chain while driving **growth, operational excellence, trading performance and profitability**.
