Job Description : uarry Incharge near Kinshasa Key Responsibilities & Result Areas (KRAs) 1. Strategic Production & Operational Excellence Production Planning: Direct and oversee daily, monthly, and annual production schedules for extraction, blasting, crushing, and aggregate sizing to meet business targets. Asset & Plant Optimization: Optimize crushing plant efficiency, primary/secondary/tertiary crushers, screens, and mobile equipment to achieve maximum availability and throughput. Quality Assurance: Ensure all aggregates, crushed stone, sub-base, and washed sand meet strict engineering specifications and client quality standards. 2. Commercial & Financial Stewardship Cost Compression & OPEX Control: Monitor direct and indirect operational costs, driving unit cost compression ($/ton) across blasting, diesel consumption, spare parts, and labor. P&L & Budgeting: Manage the quarry operating budget, capital expenditures (CAPEX), and forecasting for site expansions, fleet replacement, and plant overhauls. Supply Chain & Logistics: Coordinate with logistics and procurement teams to ensure smooth site-gate transport, inventory management, and minimal stockouts. 3. Technical Management & Blasting Operations Blasting & Extraction: Oversee pit design, bench development, drilling, and blasting schedules in coordination with certified shotfirers and technical teams. Geotechnical & Mine Planning: Ensure long-term pit stability, resource recovery, and environmental slope management in alignment with mine plans. Fleet Maintenance: Partner with Plant & Machinery (P&M) teams to maintain high mechanical availability ($\ge$85%) and utilization ($\ge$75%) for heavy earthmoving equipment (excavators, dump trucks, loaders).
