CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Job Description : CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER (CFO) KENYA AfrikLink is seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive leadership team and lead the company’s financial strategy, planning, governance, and financial operations. As AfrikLink continues to grow, we are looking for a finance leader who can build a strong financial foundation, provide clear visibility into business performance, and work closely with the Founder and leadership team to support sustainable growth and expansion. Employment Type: Full time, Remote Key Responsibilities -Lead AfrikLink’s overall financial strategy, including planning, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, working capital, and performance management. -Develop and maintain strong financial controls, policies, reporting systems, and scalable processes to support growth across multiple markets. -Prepare management reports, financial statements, forecasts, KPI dashboards, and executive-level financial analysis for the Founder and leadership team. -Provide strategic financial guidance on pricing, partnerships, new services, market expansion, investments, and other major business decisions. -Oversee accounting, tax, audit, compliance, governance, financial risk management, and appropriate mitigation controls. -Support fundraising, investment readiness, due diligence, and investor or stakeholder engagements, while working cross-functionally to ensure financial discipline is embedded across the business. Requirements -Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, financial management, or corporate finance -Demonstrated experience in a senior finance leadership role such as CFO, Finance Director, Head of Finance, Financial Controller, or equivalent -Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline -Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow management, financial modelling, reporting, and financial controls -Strong understanding of accounting, taxation, compliance, and corporate financial governance -Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, leadership, and decision-making capabilities -Strong communication skills with the ability to translate financial information into clear business insights -Experience supporting startups, technology companies, professional services, HR/talent businesses, or high-growth organizations is an advantage -Experience working across multiple markets or international operations is an added advantage -Professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, CFA, or equivalent are highly desirable
