Job Description : GENERAL MANAGER – OPERATIONS ???? ???? Location: Kampala, Uganda ???? Industry: LPG / Downstream Gas Operations We are looking for an experienced General Manager – Operations to lead and scale LPG distribution, reticulation, depot, warehouse and field operations in Uganda. ???? KEY REQUIREMENTS : • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Chemical Engineering or related field. • MBA preferred. • 10+ years of experience in LPG / downstream gas operations. • 3–5 years in a senior leadership role. • Proven experience managing and scaling LPG distribution, reticulation & field operations. • Strong expertise in team leadership, logistics, safety, regulatory compliance & cost management. • Uganda / East African regulatory knowledge preferred. • Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel extensively across Uganda. ???? KEY RESPONSIBILITIES : • Oversee end-to-end LPG distribution, reticulation, depot, warehouse & field operations.. • Lead technical, logistics, customer service & contractor teams. • Ensure operational safety, regulatory compliance & service quality. • Drive customer satisfaction, timely delivery & efficient installations. • Manage budgets, resources, operating costs & contractor performance. • Develop SOPs and operational systems to support business growth. • Monitor KPIs and report operational performance to senior management. • Manage relationships with regulators, suppliers, logistics partners & key customers. ????
