Job Description : MANAGER – QUALITY CONTROL (MICRO) | INJECTABLES UK Open to International candidates We are looking for an experienced and technically strong Manager – Quality Control (Microbiology) to lead microbiological quality control activities for our Injectable manufacturing facility. ???? Position: Manager – Quality Control (Microbiology) ???? Department: Quality Control – Microbiology ???? Industry: Pharmaceutical – Injectables ???? Key Responsibilities ? Lead and manage the QC Microbiology laboratory for injectable products ? Oversee microbiological testing of raw materials, water, environment, in-process and finished products ? Manage sterility testing, bacterial endotoxin testing (BET/LAL), microbial limit testing and bioburden testing ? Ensure effective environmental monitoring of aseptic and classified areas ? Review and approve microbiological test results, worksheets and laboratory documentation ? Ensure compliance with GMP, GLP and regulatory requirements ? Manage culture media preparation, growth promotion testing and culture maintenance ? Handle OOS, OOT, deviations and microbiological investigations with appropriate CAPA ? Oversee qualification and monitoring of microbiology laboratory equipment ? Coordinate with QA, Production, Engineering and other departments for microbiological compliance ? Ensure data integrity and timely completion of QC activities ? Lead and develop the microbiology team through training and performance management ? Support regulatory, customer and internal audits ???? Desired Candidate Profile • M.Sc. in Microbiology / Biotechnology or equivalent qualification • 10+ years of relevant experience in QC Microbiology – Injectable/Sterile Manufacturing • Strong hands-on knowledge of microbiological testing and aseptic practices • Experience in sterility testing, BET, bioburden, environmental monitoring and microbial testing • Good understanding of GMP, GLP, contamination control and data integrity • Experience in handling microbiological investigations, OOS/OOT and CAPA • Strong leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills • Exposure to USFDA / EU-GMP / WHO-GMP regulatory requirements will be an advantage ????
