Job Description : GOLD & DIAMOND PROCESSING MANAGER A mining company is seeking an experienced Gold and Diamond Processing Manager to lead and manage its mineral-processing operations in Tanzania. ???? Work arrangement: Site-based Key Responsibilities • Manage gold and diamond processing operations to achieve production, recovery, quality and cost targets. • Oversee gold-processing activities, including crushing, milling, gravity concentration, CIL/CIP, elution and smelting. • Supervise diamond recovery, separation, sorting, grading and secure handling procedures. • Develop and implement processing procedures, production plans and quality-control systems. • Monitor plant performance, metallurgical recoveries, operating costs, production losses and overall efficiency. • Lead, train and supervise processing-plant personnel. • Ensure compliance with occupational health, safety, environmental and mining regulations. • Maintain strict security, chain-of-custody and production-record systems for gold and diamonds. • Coordinate plant maintenance, laboratory testing, inventory management and procurement of processing materials. • Prepare operational, technical and production reports for senior management. Minimum Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Mineral Processing, Mining Engineering, Chemical Engineering or a related discipline. • At least 10 years of relevant mineral-processing experience, including management or supervisory responsibilities. • Strong practical experience in gold-processing plants and gold-recovery systems. • Knowledge of diamond recovery, separation, sorting or grading operations. • Demonstrated ability to improve plant recovery, throughput, efficiency and cost performance. • Strong leadership, analytical, reporting and problem-solving skills. • Experience working in Africa or other international mining environments will be an advantage. Preferred Candidate Profile Candidates may be based in Tanzania or elsewhere. Mining professionals with substantial working experience in India, Nepal, or other Asian countries, particularly in gold processing, diamond recovery, mineral processing or metallurgical operations, are especially encouraged to apply.
