Head Tendering and Procurement

Job Description : HEAD TENDERING AND PROCUREMENT NIGERIA FOR POWER SECTOR a well-established EPC Contracting company in Nigeria (West Africa) and is providing one-stop engineering service solutions for total power lifecycle management, which includes engineering and design, suppliers qualification and management to procurement and logistics. Job Description : Responsible for tendering of the projects, Estimation and costing of the Substation, Transmission lines etc. Participate in pre-bid discussions. Coordination of projects related to site requirement, design submission, client and consultant approvals. Internal costing for the onshore works, comparative statements and work orders. Issuance of purchase requisitions in the respective system through ERP to ensure timely placement of Purchase orders. Support the procurement team in obtaining technical specifications from engineering on time. Support critical order negotiations (high value, critical contract setup). Coordination with the site officials for the smooth functioning of the project. Drawings, GTPs and other technical documents approval and follow-ups with the relevant authorities. Project-wise budget and monthly work plan as per the Business planning targets. Prepare monthly invoices through ERP's for all related sites and submission with rigorous follow- up till payment. To Prepare MIS and cash flow statements with all project parameters. Preparation of Annual Business Plan, provide inputs for project cash flows (cost/contractor, revenue/collection, site overheads, etc.), upcoming tenders/projects, debtor/creditor list preparation. Attend the monthly progress review meeting with client and consultant. Candidate Profile: B.E.-Electrical, Electronics/Instrumentation Engineer Should have 12-15 years of experience managing tendering and procurement of Power sector projects - substation, Transmission lines etc. Must have worked in West Africa. Bachelor status
