Job Description : CHIEF LOGISTICS OFFICE DUBAI, UAE directs the macro-level distribution strategy, inbound raw materials (limestone, coal, gypsum), outbound bulk/bagged cement transport, fleet management, and warehouse optimization across manufacturing plants and regional terminals. Key Responsibilities • Strategic Network Design: Shape long-term multimodal transport frameworks (combining road, rail rake movements, and coastal shipping) to minimize cost-per-ton metrics. • Cost & Budget Control: Oversee multi-million-dollar operational budgets, freight contract negotiations with transporters, and fuel surcharge mitigation. • Plant-to-Market Synchronization: Coordinate inbound raw material flows to kilns and smooth outbound dispatch schedules to match fluctuating construction demand. • Digital & Fleet Innovation: Implement GPS tracking, ERP/WMS systems, automated loading bays, and route-optimization software. • HSE & Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to heavy-vehicle safety standards, environmental regulations, and local transport laws. Qualifications & Skills • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, or Engineering.
