LOGISTICS MANAGER

Job Description : LOGISTICS MANAGER UAE Manage daily logistics and transportation operations. Coordinate the movement of heavy equipment, machinery, materials, and manpower between sites, warehouses, and project locations. Plan transportation schedules and optimize vehicle and equipment utilization. Coordinate with project teams, site supervisors, drivers, suppliers, and subcontractors. Monitor fleet activities, vehicle availability, maintenance, registration, and documentation. Arrange transportation permits and required approvals for equipment and oversized/heavy-load movements. Plan and coordinate mobilization and demobilization of equipment and manpower. Monitor fuel consumption, transportation costs, and logistics expenses. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, equipment movements, vehicle trips, and transportation documents. Coordinate with customs, freight forwarders, clearing agents, and shipping companies when required. Follow up on local and international shipments and ensure timely delivery. Ensure all logistics activities comply with UAE regulations, project requirements, and company policies. Identify logistics delays and operational issues and take corrective action. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly logistics reports for management. Develop and maintain relationships with transportation companies, suppliers, and logistics service providers. Monitor logistics KPIs and continuously improve operational efficiency. Supervise and guide logistics coordinators, drivers, and other logistics personnel. Requirements Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics management. UAE experience in construction, heavy equipment, transportation, lifting, or industrial projects is preferred. Strong knowledge of transportation and fleet management. Experience with heavy equipment and project mobilization is an advantage. Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel. Strong communication, coordination, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple logistics activities under tight deadlines. UAE Driving License is an advantage. Good command of English; knowledge of Arabic or Chinese is an advantage.
