Director of Facilities

Job Description : DIRECTOR OF FACILITIES PAN EAST AND SOUTH AFRICA - The Director of Facilities and Security oversees facilities operations across multiple locations with direct responsibility for maintenance, housekeeping, security, and operational support. The role leads facility planning and management, including preventive maintenance programs, vendor and contract oversight, building systems monitoring, and support for construction and renovation projects. This position also ensures compliance with health, safety, security, and emergency preparedness requirements by conducting inspections, maintaining records, and aligning practices with organizational policies and external regulations. In addition, the director supports loss prevention efforts, special events, document storage management, and cross-functional coordination with other departments to meet organizational needs. The role requires a hands-on leader with strong management skills who can oversee staff, budgets, scheduling, performance, and department strategy while maintaining safe, efficient, and well-run facilities. - Bachelor’s degree preferred. - 25+ years of building and security management experience, including 3+ years in a supervisory role and 2+ years overseeing multi-site operations. - Experience managing electronic facility systems and using data to improve operations and maintenance.
