Senior Sourcing Manager

Job Description : Senior Manager Sourcing/AGM Buyer for one of the leading automotive components manufacturing Company based at Coimbatore. Exp: 15+ yrs Qualification: Diploma or BE - Mechanical / Electronics Location: Coimbatore Experience in Procurement of different commodities like Sheet Metal, Die Casting,Turned parts,Electronic Parts. Roles & Responsibilities: Effective scheduling and ordering of materials in line with materials planning to meet production requirement. Indicating forecast to suppliers, releasing of purchase orders, covering supplier lead time. Ensuring availability of appropriate quantities of materials with safety stock and inventory management. Supplier performance rating and improvement in areas related to quality, delivery and service. Monitoring on costs related to materials (Through put increase, Waste elimination, VAVE etc.,), logistics, purchasing etc., towards continuous reduction / optimization. Monitoring and initiating swift action to avoid inventory getting into slow moving. Budgeting, resource allocation and execution to accomplish Organizational/ Department goals.
