Mine Director

Job Description : Mine Director | Senegal Linum Consult is currently recruiting an experienced Mine Director for a large-scale open-pit mining operation in Senegal. We are looking for a senior mining professional with extensive hands-on experience managing open-pit mining operations in Africa, ideally West Africa. The successful candidate should have previously held a position such as Mine Director, Mine Manager, General Manager – Mining Operations or Mining Operations Manager, with direct responsibility for production and site performance. The ideal profile will bring: - Extensive open-pit mining operations experience - Proven management of large mobile mining fleets - Strong leadership of large, multidisciplinary and multicultural teams - Solid experience across production, maintenance, HSE, planning and cost control - Strong focus on operational performance and equipment availability - Previous experience in Africa, ideally West Africa - Mining contractor experience would be an advantage - Fluent French and English are required - This is a senior, hands-on operational position requiring a strong field presence and the ability to lead and develop site teams. ????
