Job Description : factory manager Location-Africa Nigeria location Experience: 15+ years in plastics manufacturing, with at least 4 years as Factory/Plant Manager managing 50+ machines. Education: B.E./B.Tech Mechanical/Electrical or CIPET. Job Description Senior Factory Manager – Plastic Manufacturing | Nigeria Purpose: Lead manufacturing operations across multiple factories in Nigeria, ensuring production targets, productivity, quality, cost, machine availability, inventory control, safety and factory discipline. Key Responsibilities Production planning and control Monitor plan vs actual production Improve plant productivity and OEE Control rejection, scrap and wastage Monitor standard weight and cycle time Drive continuous improvement Ensure preventive maintenance and breakdown control Control spare consumption Monitor input-output reconciliation and inventory variance Optimise manpower and factory expenses Implement SOPs, 5S and safety systems Monitor performance across multiple locations Prepare and review daily factory performance reports Processes: Injection moulding / Blow moulding. Education: B.E./B.Tech Mechanical/Electrical or CIPET. 4. Skills Must Have 1. Plastic Injection / Blow Moulding This is the most important technical filter. 2. Large plant management Candidate should have managed 50+ machines, preferably across multiple shifts/production lines. 3. Factory Manager experience Minimum 4 years of genuine plant/factory ownership. 4. OEE / Productivity Candidate should understand machine availability, performance and quality components of OEE and have improved them. 5. Wastage / rejection control Must be able to demonstrate actual reduction in rejection, scrap or material wastage. 6. Production planning 7.
