PRODUCTION MANAGER

Job Description : PRODUCTION MANAGER EAST AFRICA FOR METAL COATING LINE Lead Metal Coating Line (MCL) production, quality and process operations. Achieve production, productivity, quality and cost targets. Ensure optimum equipment capacity utilization and minimize breakdowns. Drive process improvement, problem-solving and 5K activities. Control consumption of metal, gas, fuel, power, rolls and scrap. Manage manpower, shift schedules, performance and training. Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, HSE/OSHA requirements. Manage SAP production tracking and inventory control. Key Qualifications Degree in Mechanical, Production or Industrial Engineering. 1015 years’ total experience, including 5–7 years in Metal Coating Line. Strong technical knowledge of Metal Coating operations in the Steel industry. Experience with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and HSE/OSHA systems. Knowledge of SAP PP, MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Strong technical, leadership and problem-solving skills. English and Kiswahili proficiency. Registration with Engineers Board preferred/required.
