Experience: Senior leadership experience in international commodity trading ???? *We are particularly keen to connect with senior metals professionals who bring hands-on UAE/Dubai market experience.* About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead and scale a growing agri-commodity trading and processing business in the UAE.The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise across commodity procurement, international trading, sourcing, processing, Pamp;L management and market development, with exposure to multiple international markets.Key Responsibilities• Lead overall business operations across trading, procurement, sourcing and processing.• Drive Pamp;L ownership, profitability and margin optimisation.• Develop and execute commodity trading and sourcing strategies.• Build and strengthen relationships with suppliers, traders and international partners.• Identify new markets, commodities and business opportunities.• Drive operational efficiencies and improve business performance.• Establish strong MIS, reporting and margin-control mechanisms.• Lead, mentor and develop high-performing teams.• Work closely with senior leadership to develop and execute the companys growth strategy.Ideal Candidate?? Strong experience in international agri-commodity trading?? Proven Pamp;L management experience?? Exposure to procurement, sourcing, processing and trading?? Strong understanding of commodity markets and margins?? Experience managing large trading/commodity portfolios?? International exposure, particularly across UAE, India, Africa or Southeast Asia, would be advantageous??
