Job Description : Retail & Operations Head Location: Dubai, UAE Industry: Retail / Petroleum / Consumer & Commercial Operations Experience: 12–15 years Geographical Experience: Africa experience is mandatory About the Role We are looking for an experienced and commercially driven Retail & Operations Head to lead and manage the company’s retail operations, business performance, operational efficiency, and expansion initiatives across its markets. The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing multi-location retail operations, preferably across African markets, with a proven track record of delivering revenue growth, improving profitability, strengthening operational controls, and building high-performing teams. Experience in petroleum products, fuel retailing, service stations, lubricants, LPG, energy products, or related downstream businesses will be a strong advantage. Key Responsibilities 1. Preferred Industry Experience Candidates from the following sectors will be preferred: Petroleum / Fuel Retail Oil & Gas – Downstream Lubricants LPG / Energy Automotive Retail / Service Stations Distribution & Trading Petroleum products experience will be an added advantage. Candidate Profile 12–15 years of overall professional experience. Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in African markets is mandatory. Proven experience managing multi-location retail operations. Strong commercial and P&L management experience. Experience managing large teams and geographically dispersed operations. Strong understanding of sales, operations, supply chain and retail economics. Demonstrated experience in business expansion and market development. Strong negotiation, analytical and leadership skills. Ability to work across multiple African countries and cultures. International exposure, particularly in Africa and the Middle East, preferred. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Operations, Retail or a related discipline; MBA preferred.
