Job Description : Head of Supply Chain, Manufacturing, East Africa Select Global Solutions is partnering with an established manufacturing group in East Africa to appoint its Head of Supply Chain. The role reports directly to the CEO. You will own the end-to-end supply chain. This covers strategic procurement, demand planning, materials planning, warehousing, inventory and logistics. You will lead the procurement, logistics and stores managers. Key priorities: Deliver orders on time and in full, at the lowest sustainable cost Lead Sales and Operations Planning, balancing sales and production priorities Manage imports, customs, duties and bonded warehouse compliance Strengthen vendor contracts, service levels and supplier performance reviews Improve forecast accuracy and reduce inventory relative to output Build the teams capability on SAP Materials Management What we are looking for: 15+ years experience, including 8+ years in supply chain leadership within manufacturing Bachelors degree in Supply Chain; a Masters or CIPS Level 5 is an advantage Registration with the relevant national procurement professional body Strong SAP/ERP skills and a proven record of cost and process improvement
