CFO

Job Description : FINTECH CFO UAE We are looking for a senior finance leader to work directly with the CEO and act as the second-in-command on financial, capital allocation and strategic commercial decisions. This is a highly hands-on role where regulatory compliance comes first, followed by commercial strategy, negotiations, partnerships, operations, fundraising and Board/investor engagement. ???? Financial & Regulatory Leadership • Own the finance function and lead the finance team • Regulatory compliance, governance, controls and financial oversight • Capital, liquidity and funding requirements • Budgeting, forecasting, cash runway and capital planning • Build scalable finance processes, systems and reporting ???? Commercial & Strategic Finance • Partner with the CEO on pricing, margins, contracts and commercial decisions • Lead commercial negotiations and assess financial risk/return • Financial modelling, scenario analysis and business cases • Capital allocation and capital efficiency • Support strategic and operational decision-making across the business ???? Fundraising, Board & Investors • Lead/support fundraising and investor relationships • Develop financial models, investor materials and due diligence support • Board reporting, presentations and financial communications • Support capital strategy and future funding requirements ???? Leadership & Operations • Lead, develop and hold the finance team accountable • Oversee financial operations and management reporting • Work closely with Product, Commercial and Operations • Be prepared to get into the detail and make decisions — this is not an oversight-only role ???? We are open to two strong profiles: • Strategic CFO — strong fundraising/investor, Board, capital allocation and financial strategy experience, with sufficient regulatory and operational understanding. • Operational CFO — deep hands-on finance leadership, budgeting, forecasting, liquidity, controls and reporting experience, ideally in a regulated environment, with strong commercial judgement. We will consider exceptional Heads of Finance / VPs of Finance from high-growth FinTech or scale-up businesses who have 70–80% of the CFO skill set and can step up. ???? Key background: • Senior finance leadership experience • FinTech / payments / financial services / regulated environment preferred • Strong regulatory finance, governance and controls • CEO, Board and/or investor exposure • Strong financial modelling, forecasting and scenario analysis • Commercially minded, decisive and hands-on . International candidates with relevant UAE/GCC FinTech or financial-services experience may be considered.
