DIRECTOR OF TECHNOLOGY

Job Description : DIRECTOR OF TECHNOLOGY & SYSTEMS (EXPATRIATE) Industry: Diversified Conglomerate Location: Abuja, Nigeria ABOUT THE ROLE A leading and diversified conglomerate with business interests spanning Oil & Gas, Fintech, Engineering, Hospitality, Internet Service Provision (ISP), and Logistics is seeking an experienced and visionary Director of Technology & Systems to provide strategic technology leadership across its diverse business operations. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES •Develop and execute the Group's technology strategy in alignment with corporate objectives and business expansion plans. •Lead digital transformation initiatives, technology modernisation, and enterprise-wide automation. •Oversee the implementation, integration, and optimisation of enterprise systems, including ERP, CRM, HRIS, financial systems, and other critical business applications. •Establish a unified technology governance framework, standards, policies, and operating procedures across all subsidiaries. •Oversee technology architecture, software development, systems implementation, vendor •Lead the development and deployment of data analytics, business intelligence, artificial intelligence, and automation solutions to enhance operational performance. •Establish IT service management frameworks, service-level agreements, performance standards, and technology support processes. •Ensure compliance with applicable technology regulations, data protection requirements, cybersecurity standards, and industry-specific obligations. •Build, lead, and develop high-performing technology teams across the Group. •Advise the Group's executive leadership on emerging technologies, technology risks, investment priorities, and digital business opportunities. REQUIREMENTS •A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related discipline. A Master's degree or MBA will be an added advantage. •At least 15 years of progressive experience in technology and systems management, including substantial experience in senior technology leadership positions. •Demonstrable experience leading enterprise technology operations across multiple business units, subsidiaries, or industries. •Proven expertise in enterprise architecture, ERP implementation, systems integration, cloud computing, IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and digital transformation. •Strong understanding of technology requirements within complex operating environments, preferably spanning multiple sectors such as oil and gas, fintech, engineering, telecommunications/ISP, hospitality, and logistics. •Experience developing and implementing Group-wide IT strategies, technology governance frameworks, and enterprise systems.
