Job Description : Chief Operating Officer (COO) – Polymer Division ???? Dubai, UAE We are expanding our international Polymer Trading Division and are looking for an experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead the operational and commercial execution of the division. This is a senior executive opportunity for a strategic and commercially minded leader with extensive experience in polymer trading, international markets, supply chain, procurement, and business operations. ???? Key Responsibilities ? Lead and oversee the overall operations of the Polymer Division ? Develop and execute operational and commercial strategies ? Drive business growth across Africa, Asia, and international markets ? Oversee procurement, trading, sales, logistics, and supply chain activities ? Build and maintain strategic supplier and customer relationships ? Develop operational processes, systems, and performance standards ? Lead and develop high-performing multicultural teams ? Monitor market conditions, margins, pricing, and business performance ? Support expansion into new markets and product segments ? Work closely with senior management to achieve the division’s growth objectives ???? Requirements ?? 12+ years of experience in polymer trading / petrochemical trading ?? Proven leadership experience at a senior management or executive level ?? Strong international trading background ?? Extensive experience across Africa and Asia ?? Deep knowledge of: • HDPE • LDPE • LLDPE • PP • Engineering Plastics ?? Strong understanding of procurement, sales, logistics, and supply chain ?? Established international supplier and customer network ?? Strong commercial and negotiation skills ?? Proven experience managing teams and business operations ?? Fluent in English ? Preferred MBA or equivalent qualification International executive exposure Experience managing multicultural teams Experience with major polymer producers, distributors, or international trading houses ????
