Procurement Manager position

Job Description : Procurement Manager position The DRC (Earthmoving Equipment) We have as procurement manager position available with our client in Lubumbashi, The DRC. We require very specific experience for this position. We are looking for a hands on person who has experience in the procurement of spareparts for earthmoving equipment. The technical proficiency in mining fleet spares is, therefore, a key criteria for the role. The position has a 4 month/ 4 week rotation. The ideal candidate must be capable of cross-checking every spare parts requisition raised within the organization to ensure that the correct part is requested before any purchase commitment is made. This requires in-depth technical familiarity with the spares used across our mining fleet, which includes CAT Dumpers (777), CAT Articulated Dump Trucks (ADT 745), Hitachi Excavators (EX 1200 and 870), CAT Dozers (D10, D9, and D8), CAT Graders (14M), Sandvik Drilling equipment (Pantera 1500I), as well as our Chinese fleet comprising LGMG, SANY, and similar makes.
