Job Description : GM INDIA ???? Location: North India ???? Industry: Automotive / Tractor / Agricultural Machinery / Construction Equipment ???? Experience: 18–22 Years ???? Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering Key Responsibilities :Lead end-to-end shop-floor operations across Sheet Metal, Welding, Fabrication, Painting and Assembly. Manage robotic welding, MIG/spot welding, plasma/laser cutting and manufacturing automation. Drive production planning, capacity utilization, manpower productivity and achievement of production targets. Implement Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, OEE improvement and cost-reduction initiatives. Ensure quality compliance, reduce rejection and rework, and drive Root Cause Analysis and corrective actions. Coordinate NPD activities, tooling development, process planning, production-line setup and new product industrialization. Manage production teams, operational performance, inventory control and manufacturing conversion costs. Ideal Candidate Profile: ? Strong experience in Sheet Metal, Weld Shop and Fabrication operations. ? Hands-on exposure to robotic welding and automated manufacturing processes. ? Expertise in production management, productivity improvement and cost optimization. ? Experience in automotive, tractor, agricultural machinery or construction equipment manufacturing.
