BMS LEAD | MAJOR PHARMACEUTICAL CAPEX PROJECT
20 yearsJob Description : BMS LEAD | MAJOR PHARMACEUTICAL CAPEX PROJECT | DENMARK Open to International candidates I'm supporting the search for an experienced BMS Lead to join the client-side engineering team on a major pharmaceutical API facility retrofit project in Copenhagen. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a large-scale CAPEX programme at the very beginning of its lifecycle, with the chance to influence the project from detailed design right through construction, commissioning and final handover ???? Major pharmaceutical brownfield project (~€300m+) ???? Early-stage design phase ???? Long-term contract opportunity ???? Copenhagen-based ???? Travel model includes time in both Denmark and Cork (expenses covered) What makes this role interesting? This is not a traditional hands-on BMS design role. The successful candidate will act as the clients technical representative for the BMS package, reviewing and challenging engineering deliverables produced by EPCM partners, consultants, vendors and system integrators The focus is on ensuring designs are: ? Technically robust ? Compliant with project requirements ? Buildable and maintainable ? Ready for successful commissioning and handover Key areas of responsibility: • BMS design reviews and technical governance • Reviewing control philosophies and technical specifications • Coordinating interfaces with HVAC, mechanical, electrical and automation teams • Identifying design and constructability risks early • Supporting design, construction, commissioning and handover activities • Leading technical discussions with engineering partners and vendors Were particularly interested in people who have: ? Pharmaceutical, biotech or API project experience ? Strong BMS / Building Automation expertise ? Experience within EPCM, engineering consultancy or client-side project teams ? Large CAPEX project experience ? Design-phase project involvement ? Experience reviewing and challenging engineering deliverables rather than purely commissioning or operations-focused work ? Strong stakeholder management and communication skills Experience with organisations such as Jacobs, PM Group, IPS, Exyte, Fluor, Wood, Worley, NIRAS, AFRY or similar engineering consultancies would be highly relevant If you'd be interested in discussing the opportunity, or know someone who may be a strong fit, please get in touch.
