Job Description : Vice President - Operations (Heavy Engineering) Are you a veteran operations and manufacturing leader with a proven track record of driving scale, precision, and world-class execution?On behalf of our client—a premier, rapidly growing Heavy Engineering amp; Turnkey Projects manufacturer based in Faridabad, Haryana—we are seeking a visionary, hands-on Vice President - Operations to join their senior leadership team.In this critical role, you will hold end-to-end operational and Pamp;L accountability—spearheading everything from design and heavy machining to shop assembly, rigorous quality, SCM, and global project delivery. Key Role Details:Position: Vice President - OperationsLocation: Faridabad, Haryana (Full-time)Reporting to: Managing DirectorIndustry Focus: Heavy Engineering, Custom Capital Equipment, Gear Manufacturing amp; Turnkey Industrial Projects Who are we looking for? (Must-Haves)Experience: 30+ years in heavy engineering/manufacturing, with at least 10 years in senior plant or operations leadership.Domain Expertise: Deep, hands-on experience in heavy amp; precision machining (CNC, VTL, HMC, boring), gear manufacturing, hot rolling mill equipment, or massive industrial machinery.Technical Qualification: B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, or Metallurgy Engineering.Capabilities: Strong history of running large, multi-disciplinary teams (Design, Production, Assembly, SCM, Quality) and managing end-to-end turnkey EPC projects from concept to commissioning.Preferred: Proven success managing international projects, European technology partners, and implementing Lean/TPM/ERP systems. What You Will Lead:End-to-End Project Execution: Own the delivery of complex, multi-crore turnkey engineering projects in India and abroad on-time, on-spec, and on-budget.Machine Shop amp; Assembly Excellence: Optimize world-class machine shop utilization (OEE, cycle times) and oversee comprehensive shop assembly, trial runs, and testing.World-Class Quality amp; Safety: Champion ISO 9001 and international export quality standards while maintaining a zero-compromise EHS (Safety) culture on the shop floor.Transformational Leadership: Build and mentor high-performing senior teams, drive continuous improvement (Lean, 5S, Kaizen), and handle senior-level customer amp; partner escalation.
