Job Description : ) Managing Director, Crane & Engineering Services (CES), Shanghai I am looking for my successor at CES, and it's a role I can recommend wholeheartedly. CES is APM Terminals' technical terminal-equipment business, based in Shanghai, close to where most of the world's port cranes are built. Our team follows equipment through its whole life: design review, quality assurance, factory supervision, commissioning, acceptance, warranty and structural integrity. We do this for terminals across the APM Terminals network and for selected external clients. This is a real operating job. You run your own business with its own P&L and leadership team. You work closely with all major crane manufacturers and decide whether equipment is ready to leave the factory and enter service. As APM Terminals grows its terminal network, CES will play a central part in making sure new equipment arrives safe, on spec and ready to work.
