Job Description : HEAD OF FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS GROUP (FIG) Note: This role is open to all nationalities. However you must have Senior / Unit Head level FIG experience in the GCC. ???? Oman | Full-time | In-person A senior banking leadership opportunity to strengthen correspondent banking relationships, expand international financial institutions business and drive diversified profitability. ???? KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Build and manage relationships with foreign correspondent banks and local commercial banks to grow international banking business. • Develop business across correspondent banking, payments, trade finance, loans and off-balance-sheet products. • Negotiate credit lines, diversify funding sources and secure competitive borrowing rates. • Identify lending opportunities in primary and secondary markets to deploy surplus liquidity and enhance returns. • Review and endorse credit requests, manage counterparty limits and assess bank, country and transaction risks. • Originate and execute mandates, lead business development and marketing initiatives, achieve revenue targets and cross-sell products and services. • Coordinate with Credit Risk, Trade Finance, Treasury, Operations and Legal to facilitate trade and treasury transactions. • Ensure compliance with AML, KYC, sanctions, operational risk and internal control requirements, working closely with Money Laundering Prevention Officers. • Maintain high standards of integrity, transparency, accountability and professional conduct. ? REQUIREMENTS • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred. • Minimum 15 years of banking experience, including at least 10 years in Financial Institutions coverage and/or relevant FI product roles. • Strong experience managing financial institution and correspondent banking relationships.
