Job Description : ???????? – ???????????????????????????????????? & ???????????????????????????? HK General Manager – Technical & Quality for a reputed Multinational Apparel Buying Office. We are seeking an experienced technical and quality leader with strong expertise in apparel quality management, factory operations, buyer compliance, and continuous improvement to ensure product excellence and on-time shipment. ???????????? ???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? - Lead the overall RMG quality function, ensuring products meet buyer requirements, internal standards, and applicable quality benchmarks from raw materials to finished garments. - Develop and strengthen quality management systems, SOPs, inspection procedures, preventive measures, and corrective actions to minimize defects and improve product reliability. - Oversee inline, in-process, and final inspections; manage buyer quality claims, inspection failures, technical audits, and timely resolution of quality issues. - Drive factory-level quality improvement initiatives by collaborating with factory management, suppliers, buyers, and cross-functional teams. - Lead, mentor, and develop Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) teams, ensuring effective reporting, training, accountability, and continuous improvement. ???????????????????????????????????????? & ???????????????????????????????????? ???????????????????????????????????????????????? - Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred; a degree in Textile Engineering or a related discipline will be an advantage. - Experience: 10+ years of relevant experience in apparel quality management, preferably in a buying house, garments factory, or quality management organization. - Strong technical knowledge of apparel quality systems, quality control methodologies, AQL levels, and internationally recognized quality standards. - Proven expertise in buyer quality requirements, technical audits, inspection management, root-cause analysis, and corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). - Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities, with strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making skills. - Excellent communication skills, including fluency in English, with the ability to manage multiple factories, suppliers, and stakeholders under pressure.
