Job Description : Managing Director (Freight Forwarding Company) in Nigeria reputable indigenous Shipping and Logistics Company with operational footprint and partners in over 100 countries specializing in International freight forwarding business across the globe. Job Objective: The role is charged with the responsibility of delivering & implementing a growth strategy that will help achieve the Company’s business objectives. Requirements: First degree in any business related field 10+ years’ cognate experience of which at least 8 years must be at a Senior Management or Director level in a Freight Forwarding and Shipping Company Must have experience in driving growth and managing a P&L Extensive experience and understanding of multimodal shipping (air, sea & road) Previous experience of managing of developing people Confident dealing with senior stakeholders Knowledge of the Oil and Gas, EPC and EPIC project logistics Must have knowledge of Nigerian Import and Export processes Must have achieved obvious results in sales and business development with evidence of continuous growth.
