Senior Finance Manager

Job Description : SENIOR FINANCE MANAGER NIGERIA Location: Ibadan leading FMCG retail company looking to hire a Senior Finance Manager with proven knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis to manage the finances of the company. Responsibilities: § Prepare monthly reports, which include key metrics, financial results, and variance reporting. § Identify opportunities for performance improvement across the organization. § Maintain knowledge and keep abreast of new investment regulations or policies. § Develop financial models, conduct benchmarking and process analysis that help with providing financial forecasts and decision-making. § Explore different investment opportunities. § Develop initiatives and policies that improve financial growth. § Assemble and summarize data to structure sophisticated reports on financial status and risks. § Consult with management to guide and influence long term and strategic decision making within the broadest scope. § Drive process improvement and policy development initiatives that impact the function. § Conduct business studies on past, future and comparative performance and develop forecast models. § Consolidate and analyze financial data, taking into account company’s goals and financial standing. § Provide creative alternatives and recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance. § Research macroeconomic and microeconomic conditions. § Evaluate capital expenditure and asset depreciation. § Establish and evaluate records, statements and profit plans. § Identify financial performance trends and financial risk and making recommendations. Requirements: § 8-10 years experience in a similar role and a minimum of 4 years in a managerial capacity. § Proficient in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office and financial software applications § Hands on experience with statistical analysis and statistical packages.
