Procurement Manager

Job Description : PROCUREMNENT MANAGER ABU DHABI UAE Role: - To manage and support all teams by approaching Local and international suppliers and authorized agents according to the requirements of the departments by adhering to Policies and Procedures, including sourcing of supplies, materials and equipment’s and making sure that we are aligned in compliance - Manage the procurement function in responsible for consolidated purchasing of goods and services (e.g., fixed/capital assets, leased assets, services, supplies, travel, etc.) that support the entire organization, while continuously identifying and implementing cost saving/containment ideas - This position will require to focus on spend and improve relations with existing suppliers while finding new suppliers who can meet our needs more efficiently - Ensures and obtains quality products for competitive prices in a timely manner - Change management including evaluation, reporting, approvals and implementation - Develop and structure contract particulars including milestones, insurance, bonding and schedules to safeguard company’s interest and risk exposure - Contract management and administration (milestones, deliverables, invoicing, project closure) - Oversee Service Level Agreements compliance Requirements: - Must be based in Abu Dhabi or open to relocate - Excellent English skills and negotiation skills - Experience in process implementation and required internal controls - Familiar with any purchasing software - About 7-10 years of experience in a similar position preferably within the tourism/hospitality/marine/ fmcg/ destination marketing / retail or events industry - The position is open to both expats and U.A.E. nationals What success looks like: In a years’ time you would have contributed to cost saving initiative and implemented changes across the department
