Operations Head

Job Description : Head of Operations for a growing Logistics firm looking to enter Indonesia. Based out of Jakarta and open to expats and locasls As the new Head of Operations, your main role will be • Actively support in bringing on transporters and haulage companies to work with you • Drive transport vendor qualification, onboarding and registration • Build transport vendor and driver training programs • Coordinate and support training sessions for transport vendors and drivers Manage Transport Vendor Performance • Manage carrier performance on a monthly or quarterly basis • Resolve issue escalations in case of non-compliance • Resolve insurance claims • Manage the performance of transport vendors and ensure that they follow the customer’s SOP’s and safety procedures You will be an important part of the growth of this company, and will be tasked to recruit and build a team around you and expand Operations into Indonesia. You should have a strong background and knowledge of the Trucking Industry and a good grasp of the Indonesian Logistics market
