Regional Category Manager

Job Description : REGIONAL CATEGORY MANAGER CAPEX FOR SINGAPORE a global logistics service provider specializing in the business of providing tank storage for the Oil & Gas, chemical and gas clients. They are constantly reinventing themselves to keep ahead of consumer demands and they aim to maintain and improve their current performance regionally. They are currently looking for a Regional Category Manager to assist them and contribute to the business. Job Description · End to end category procurement and development of global strategies for CAPEX and OPEX with good commercial understanding and usage of relevant sourcing levers · Identify cost saving potentials and implementations of such plans systematically on assigned category with risk management · Carry out demand and spend analyst using different procurement methods and tools · Involve and preparation of end to end Source to Contract process including establishment of framework contract negotiation with suppliers and vendors · To prepare and conduct RFI/RFP/RFQ processes including but not limited to requirement evaluation & preparations with internal stakeholders, initiates tender process and addressing enquires, supplier management and negotiation etc · Subject Matter expert for issue of your assigned category The Successful Applicant · Degree in Engineering, Procurement or Supply Chain Management or equivalent technical discipline · Minimum 5 years of solid strategic sourcing experience or knowledge preferably within terminal business · Strong procurement experience in strategy development, category management and negotiation, supplier management · Strong in communication and stakeholder management · Knowledge of MS office & SAP
