Product Manager

Job Description : PRODUCT MANAGER GENSETS FOR ASIA a key leader within the power generators and motors industry, with varying products that caters to a wide range of industrial, commercial and consumer markets. Their products are well designed and renowned for high quality, with remarkable customer service. To ensure sustainable growth, they are now looking to hire an experienced Product Manager to partner closely with the new product development team and the sales team to satisfy customer's demands and claim greater market share. This role is responsible for the Asia region, with more focus on emerging markets. Job Description Reporting to the Head of Marketing, your main responsibility is to drive the growth of small units gensets business within the identified growth markets. You will also oversee regional product lifecycle plans and implementations, while working in conjunction with the commercial sales and marketing teams. You will also be up to the challenge of the following: · As the product expert, you will be expected to offer technical guidance and product trainings when necessary · Conduct competitor benchmarking for existing products, as well as new product launches · Collaborate with the product marketing team in highlighting the unique selling points of each product specifications so as to target the customers more effectively · Obtain the Voice of Customers (VOC) on new product requirements to identify untapped markets · Spearhead the GTM strategies with planned and targeted profit margins for the product portfolio, working closely with the sales team · Create the pricing strategy for different units and markets · Be the product management representative for the SEA, North Asia, South Asia and ANZ The Successful Applicant · Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a technical field · Solid and tried product management experience in gensets, alternators, or similar power engines · Demonstrated experience working in a highly collaborative, with international counterparts in different markets · Innovative, action-oriented and drive for results · Possess the ability to influence and steer discussions · High self-drive and strives for high performance
