Job Description : PLANNING HEAD DUBAI FOR RETAIL INDUSTRY 15+ years experience Main Purpose: To ensure the delivery of complex technology based Retail business solutions across Demand, Supply planning and Product lifecycle management satisfying business requirements in line with the Business and IT Services strategy Key Responsibilities: • Drive the technical direction, roadmap, architecture and strategic decisions across all technologies and applications in the area. • Partner with stakeholders to drive the implementation of the Retail planning roadmap. • Initiate and drive the implementation of Retail Planning application strategies. • Set and deliver financial budget for area of accountability. • Prepare resource and budget estimates as inputs into IT planning and budgeting process. • Deliver the Retail Planning applications delivery plan. • Provide high level estimations and plans for IT and business driven projects. • Ensure technical/application implementations and upgrades in accordance with agreed technical management and architecture standards and methodologies. • Lead, Coach and mentor a team to effectively deliver on project plans. • Ensure business relevance and customer service experience are entrenched in team delivery of applications. • Self and team: Build collaborative relationships with Business engagement team, Concept user community, IT colleagues and Vendors. • Create a culture of continuous improvement and delivery excellence (capacity and performance, measurable improvements in delivery). • Identify IT and related business risks (including resourcing) across areas of responsibility and develop strategies for risk management and mitigation. • Ensure adherence to Landmark IT services Policies, Procedures and Practices. Public Knowledge, Skills & Experience Education Relevant IT or Business degree Language Excellent written and spoken proficiency in English Job Experience • 10 years relevant experience in a similar Role • Proven track record of delivery • Proven track record of stakeholder management Technology • Up to date technical and technology experience and knowhow in Retail planning applications. • Knowledge of Oracle RPAS planning applications (MFP,LP,IP and AP) will be an advantage. Others • Deep understand of Retail buying and planning cycle and best practices. • Technology Thought Leadership and contribution to Roadmaps. • Project Management Skills. • Ability to lead and manage a team including external vendors. • Strong stakeholder management ability. Be able to communicate clearly, report and influence. • Solutions focused and systematic thinker. • Ability to plan and prioritize.
