Assistant General Manager Purchase

Job Description : AGM PURCHASE PORT HARCOURT NIGERIA FOR PETROCHEMICALS Reporting to the VP - Commercial, • Responsible for framing up Contract Management for services required for plant operation, maintenance, projects and other functions including administration, logistics etc. • Doing cost effective Procurement (Spares, capital equipments), project procurement and projects contract within the required time frame(Local, Imports / Global Sourcing). • Commercial bid analysis and negotiation with vendors on price and commercial terms and conditions. • Raising management approval note for purchase and placement of purchase order with all terms and conditions. • Short term and long term budgeting and planning. • Ensure delivery of equipments & materials as per specification and agreed delivery date. • Assessing the performance of vendors based on price, quality, payment terms, response & timely delivery. • New vendor development for effective & qualitative supply chain management at low cost and service reliability. • Experience in EPC Contracts will be added advantage. Desired Candidate Profile · B.Tech. (Mechanical Engg.). In addition - PG Diploma in Materials Management / International Trade / Logistics - will be added advantage • 15 years experience in Leading Petrochemical/ Fertilizer Companies in India • Age between 38-44 years • Should also have good understanding of Materials Management and Logistics aspects • Experience in EPC Contracts will be added advantage. • Experience in Oracle system will be added advantage. Perks and Benefits The maximum salary for the role will range around 5000 to 6000 USDs per month depending on the designation + perks and benefits which includes a Family status/ accommodation.
