Purchase and Supply Planner

Job Description : PURCHASE AND SUPPLY PLANNER MID EAST 1. Responsible for arranging for the purchase of of unfinished & finished products from pre-approved internal & external stake holders. 2. Evaluate external suppliers based on cost, selection, service, distribution capabilities and availability. 3. Create & send purchase orders for FG, Semi-finished goods & packaging materials. Book GRN for inbound shipments. 4. Track and trace progress of shipments by creating reports. Follow up with external vendors on goods delivery from source to destination. 5. Review prices and ensure correct pricing structure is followed while executing & receiving orders. 6. Monitor all inventory level and determine appropriate delivery dates of all products and forecast all order requirements 7. Resolve all delivery issues and prepare all products for shipments. 8. Create vendor and BOM data in ERP. Maintain accuracy in all vendor data in inventory control module. 9. Coordinate purchase change notifications and update master data of material accordingly. 10. Handle compliance issues of product while importing and exporting. 11. Coordinate with accounts on the purchases and assist in VAT claims. 12. Conduct stock take and reconcile inventory before closing. 13. Well versed in import & export clearance process. 14. Understands the process of forecasting and demand planning. 15. Perform inventory & sales analysis to determine MoQ from supplier to Distributors. Qualifications 1. Min Bachelor’s degree preferably in logistics & supply chain, Certifications will be added advantage. 2. Min. 8 years related experience in consumer goods category. 3. Experience in demand/purchase planning is a must. 4. Excellent in MS Excel (advanced knowledge) & outlook. 5. Knowledge in ERP module, SAP or Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferable. 6. Strong verbal & written communication skills in English.
