Job Description : PROJECT DIRECTOR/CEO INDONESIA FOR IRON AND STEEL Project Background : This will be a greenfield project starting from scratch to build an Iron steel complex using blast furnace technology for production of iron , steel and finally steel flat and long products . The ideal candidate will need to be familiar with all aspects of project planning , construction , design , and commissioning of a large steel complex from greenfield stage . He will be supported by a strong team of finance and commercial specialists and will need to take responsibility for the Technical Know How to understand all aspects and the project : from Construction , Commissioning , Blast Furnace , Iron , and Steel production. Candidate Profile Senior level person who could initially play the role of Project Director and later on could assume the a role as MD for the business . The ideal candidate would be working in Asia Pacific Region and familiar with all aspects of Integrated Steel Plants handling production / manufacturing / and project implementation of large plants from greenfield stage. This is a very senior level positionand candidate should have held senior level ( as Director / GM / Advisor / Project Head ) for very reputed Steel plants using blast furnace with production volumes over 10 Million tons per annum. Experience as Profit Centre Head of Integrated Steel Plants with direct Reporting to the Owners, managing large project budgets , implementation of strategic plan to promote the company's mission and objectives and to achieve goals for revenue, profitability and growth will be preferred . Behavioral competencies for this roles would be : Strong Leadership in Multi-cultural environments ; Strategic thinking for business result , Achievement Orientation , and commitment for results. Requirements: Mechanical Engineer or Metallurgists with a successful career history in reputed world class Iron and steel plants , with thorough knowledge of all aspect of Iron and Steel Manufacturing , start up of project from construction , project review , and overall management of the business with P&L responsibility. MBA would be great but not essential.
