Production and Maintenance Head

Job Description : PRODUCTION AND MAINTENANCE HEAD EAST AFRICA FOR COLD ROLLING MILL a leading manufacturer of steel products. Job Description: Hands-on Cold Rolling process of Steel. Worked in steel industries for more than 15 years. Hands-on with the experience of 4hi & 6hi cold rolling mill. Experience in maintenance & production. Production experience as per specification and requirements. Knowledge of coolant and coolant systems. Hardcore responsible for preparing and maintenance of coolant. Responsible and capable to analyze the process for improvement. Having knowledge & responsible to prepare various reports. Responsible for rejection control and cost-saving in a cold rolling mill. Knowledge of maintenance of cold rolling mill Hands-on & responsible to reduce the downtime and increase the productivity of the mill. Hands-on maintenance of roll grinding, grinding machining and various works shop as required to support the mill. Responsible for workshop for the mill. Knowledge of ETP which required to associate and support the functioning of the mill. Knowledge of pickling and trimming process for better control and effective measurements. Knowledge of the application system as well as the operating system. Basic electrical understanding of preventive maintenance and controlling maintenance. Plan, organize, direct, control; and evaluate the operations of the production department within company policies and procedures. Develop and implement plans to efficiently use materials, labor, and equipment to meet production targets. Manage the establishment of the department budget; develop production schedules and maintain an inventory of raw materials. Plan and implement changes to machinery and equipment, production system and methods of work; direct quality control inspection system, and develop production reporting procedures. Desired candidate profile: 15-20 Years of Experience in Steel Industry as Production & Maintenance Head in Cold Rolling Mill. The candidate must be ready to move on a bachelor's status.
