Job Description : HEAD MANUFACTURING OPERATIONS DUBAI FOR PERSONAL CARE PRODUCTS Educational Qualification(Required) : B.Tech. (Chemical) / B.Sc. Tech. / M. Pharma. / M. Sc. (Chemistry) Experience(Required): 15 - 20 years experience in manufacturing function Role Purpose Responsible for handling plant level manufacturing and accountable for overall performance of manufacturing. Job Authority Decision making authority for overall activities of Liquid and Soap manufacturing Technical Skills & Knowledge - Strategic Thinking and in-depth knowledge of manufacturing concepts, trends and best practices (eg- lean, six sigma, etc) Thorough understanding of the product manufacturing process Knowledge of companys strategy, structure and practices Proven ability to build, sustain, and influence relationships at all levels of an organization Strong planning, conflict management and decision-making skills Deep data analysis and forecasting skills. People development, coaching and leadership/teambuilding skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Key Responsibilities " Develop plant production plans that are aligned with the requirements of customer and as communicated by Head Operations Ensure that manufacturing plans are converted to targets for plant personnel Ensure that plant budget is optimally utilized Ensure Customer Satisfaction by attaining agreed Customer Service Level (OTIF) Responsible for planning and fulfilling PCP manufacturing plans in Dubai by managing the manufacturing processes in a manner that maximize productivity without compromising on quality. Plan and all execute budget for PCP Manufacturing, Dubai. Plan, develop and implement strategy for PCP manufacturing in Dubai. Develop and review implementation of PCP manufacturing policies and processes and ensure that they are communicated to various stakeholders. Liaison with PCP supply chain management & RMPM procurement, Quality, HSE in Dubai to align plans, ensure that requirements are met and information is shared Manage performance of the PCP manufacturing (Dubai) team, support capability building and ensure that individual and team morale and motivation is positive. Review performance of PCP manufacturing in Dubai, provide inputs for capability building and ensure that individual/ team morale is maintained Be a subject matter expert on global best practices in PCP manufacturing processes, technology, infrastructure etc. Meet quality, time and cost SLAs agreed Ensure optimum capacity utilization, reduce costs of manufacturing and support capacity expansion efforts Reduce cycle time of manufacturing & Optimize inventory levels Ensure that Manufacturing MIS is tracked regularly and completed on time Reduce the number of HSE incidents
