General Manager International Marketing

Job Description : GM INTERNATIONAL MARKETING OF ERW PIPES OUT OF MUMBAI 18+ years experience International Marketing of ERW Steel Tubes & Hollow Sections, GI Coils, Profiled Sheets,GP GC Plain & Corrugation Sheets, Building Materials, Engineering Products • Developing global market penetration strategies in consultation with management. • Responsible for generating business International sales and Marketing from MENA and Europe which includes UAE, Qatar, Oman, Jordan, Turkey, Iraq, Iran, Kuwait, Nigeria, Algeria, Angola AUSTRALIA , NEWZELAND, FIZI, THILAND, SINGAPORE,NEPAL, SRI LANKA, COMBODIA and other African region etc. Areas of Expertise • Business Development in International Mkt • Quality management • Dealers & Channel Management • Persuasion, Negotiation & Closing Skills • Key Accounts Management • Customer Service Management / Retention • Prospecting, networking and market development Business Development for new overseas geographies. • Overseas market development for new customers and new products. • Overseas visits to meet customers, order bookings, competitor mapping & to ensure proper execution of the marketing strategy as planned. • Structuring Finance deals for Customers. Thereby generating additional top line to the business. • Achieving the net realization as per the budget. • Formalizing Sales Plan for the assigned markets • Credit check of customers and organizing Credit Insurance coverage. • Payment reconciliation from the customers • MIS & other Management reports. • Ensure pre-qualification / Approvals by major client/ consultant / EPC contractor of the projects in the region. • Identify and appoint international partners / agents and evaluate their performance on continual basis. • Maintain the good relationship with all Major Customer / Consultant and EPC contractors engaged in various pipeline projects. • Business development through personal visit and co-ordination with local business partners. • To Ensure satisfaction of the customer / EPC contractor by giving full support. • Supervision of export documentation and shipping operations. • Production planning for export orders • . Preparing Strategies for overseas market penetration and competition with other suppliers. • Costing and deciding price policy with the consent of management for various overseas markets. • Market research for product development and interaction with production heads. • Developing Revenue projection reports. • Interaction with the top management and clients for sales and product development. Sales and Marketing • Overseeing the sales and marketing operations in International arena, thereby achieving increased sales growth. Analyzing and develop new markets to drive volumes resulting in business growth. • Driving sales efforts involving effective promotional activities, product awareness with high potential clients for growth and profitability. Business Development • Through aggressive business development strategies, enhancing brand visibility and accelerating business growth. • Executing effective plans designed to assure achievement of agreed-to volume, market share and profit objectives. Team Management • Leading, training & monitoring the performance of team members to ensure efficiency in operations and meeting of individual & group targets. • Scheduling team assignments to achieve the pre set goals within time, quality & cost parameters. • Delivering high-impact presentations for lead generation and closure of calls. Strategic Planning • Analyze competitors and identify long term market opportunities • Support the development of International Business plans encompassing Sales, Distribution development, brand, people, costs, etc. • Provide leadership and drive the entire team for achieving the targets. • Review & analysis of the sales initiatives, providing perspective for future decision-making. • Driving team focus on quality standards, focus on TQM - improved TAT • Inter-Department co-ordination on issues affecting performance/customer deliverables. Computer Knowledge Windows 98, MS office, Power Point, MS word & MS excel. Working exposure in ERP system. / SP R/3
