Chief Executive Officer

Job Description : CEO SINGAPORE FOR FMCG a consumer good player and their business cuts across manufacturing, supply chain and trading of consumer goods. Revenues are in the 500 million to 1 billion range and there is interest from the board to expand their product and manufacturing portfolio further, owing to increased demand in certain segments. The CEO will report to the board and candidates with prior experience in running P&Ls for firms listed in Singapore, HK (or other Asian markets) will be highly preferred. Job Description The CEO, FMCG is responsible for managing a business which includes hiring talent, legal affairs, finance, HR, regulatory compliance, appointing partners for logistics and customer service. Reporting to the board, this role will be measured on: · P&L management · Driving cost efficiency · Launching new products and countries · Being the lead on M&A, JV activities that are priorities for the board · Managing relationships with the regulators · Driving the company's strategic goals In the next 5 years, this role (as envisioned) will manage a business that's close to $750 million including manufacturing operations. The Successful Applicant · 20 years on more in leadership roles, with at least 5 years in as a COO / CFO / CEO in a firm that's listed one of the Asian stock exchanges · Experience in consumer goods, ideally within the food category, is the best case · Alternatively, you could have experience in running a large distribution business across FMCG products · Understanding of the relevant regulatory, compliance issues will be preferred · Ideally, experience of reporting directly to the board · Solution driven approach to business conversations and someone with a lot of conviction · Expertise in sales forecasting, planning
