Director Supply Chain 

Job Description : SUPPLY CHAIN DIRECTOR DUBAI As a key member of the executive team, the Supply Chain director will contribute to the development and strategic planning application as a member of the Management Committee. The supply chain director will manage the Rentals, Purchase, Logistic as well as the QHSE department and ensure a smooth operation of our production. Main Accountabilities (This part should not be an exhaustive list of tasks) To operate · Ensure the project delivery as per Internal/External client requirement. (SOW, Deadline, Quality, Budget…) · Ensure the well organization of the facilities to operate our activities smoothly. (RAK, RAS AL KHOR, DIP) · Support the Finance department on the Suppliers Payment process · Follow & Support the operations Team on their day to day activities & their yearly objectives To structure & Lead: · Create/document the company’s supply chain strategy, synergies amongst each department, innovation & future development · Monitor/Create processes and deploy the implementation of digital tools in order to ensure smooth operations logistics · Find cost-effective solutions for supply chain processes, facilities and challenge current solutions provided by the Rentals, Purchase, Logistic department on continuous improvement basis · Implement a Procurement strategy starting by an audit/assessment, price negotiation, network development on GCC level · Implement the Quality department and ensure respect of HSE towards the company’s operations while working on the obtention of an ISO certification · Collaborate with the manufacturing departments and other departments to create coordinated plans for cost-effective supply chain procedures and ensure growth of gross margin · Ensure supply chain processes meet legal requirements, standards and environment friendly actions · Ensure strict respect of budget on investment and ROI, review and approve equipment needs · Take part of HR initiatives such hiring / developing training of different functions To sustain: · Analyse various data related to the assigned department and ensure review of processes to find bottlenecks and other issues · Evaluate and report on KPIs (Dashboard) · Ensure that the company runs with legality and conformity to established regulations (HSE, Labour Law) · Ensure that the HR structure of global supply chain is sustainable and oriented toward Excellence As part of the management committee, take part of cross functional Project Management • Identify areas of process improvements across the company, propose & implement solutions Knowledge & Skills · 15+ years of experience within the supply chain/logistic or quality services · knowledge of supply chain processes · Ability to conduct detailed procedures · Strong planning and organisation skills · Good time management as well as Project management skills · Ability to solve problems and make decisions · Strong business acumen with negotiation abilities · Good written and verbal communication skills · Strong sense of time organization and urgency
