10 yearsJob Description : MODERN TRADE MANAGER UGANDA JOB BRIEF The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all activities in relations to modern trade execution i.e. strategies, client relations, merchandiser management, and reporting. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Listing the full range of company's products with the Key accounts as per communicated targets. • Retain and nurture existing customers. ensuring repeat sales. volume growth, and Increased rate of sale and customer satisfacUon. • Open quality new customer accounts, promoting distribution through approved route to market partners for both Modern and general trade. • Develop and manage eMcient distribution networlcs for sales. • Develop efficient and creative sales and marketing strategies for the assigned territory. • Collecting customer and market feedback and reporting the same to the organization. • Monitoring sales performance, analyzing sales data. periodical forecasting and reporting the same to the company. • Identify and grow business through networking and follow-up courtesy calls. • Meet sales targets set by management and contribute to team targets. • Maintain good customer relations while networking with existing customers in order to maintain Units and promote additional products and upgrades. Qualifications Minimum Expectation: • Worked for 5+ years In Modern Trade in FMCG • Must have handled scope of work at a national level • Must have managed and supervised at least 20 people and via any Sales Force Automation Platform • Minimum of a diploma in Marketing or business-related course. • Must be a resident of Nairobi • Confident. presentable and aggressive, with ability to follow-through on Join business plans • Ability to handle and overcome objecUons from customers while negotiating tenns of trade. • Planning and presenting reports on key account progress, goals, and quarterly initiaUves to share with team members
