Chief Financial Officer 
15 yearsJob Description : COUNTRY CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER UAE for a large industrial services company in order to support development in the Middle East Region MISSION The Country Chief Financial Officer will report to the Country MD. The CFO will ensure the financial functioning of the company, including all financial management and reporting, accounting, treasury and taxes. S.He will be also responsible for Stakeholder Management, Legal, IT and Audit. This person is part of the Executive Committee of the Country. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES · Manage the Finance department (financial control, accounting, treasury, taxes, IT, contract management, legal & purchasing) and provide clear leadership and direction · Establish the accounting and control functions to ensure that ‘best in class’ processes are implemented and sustained · Drive the Purchasing strategy and methods. Ensure that the purchasing practices are compliant with group policies and support the company organization with the purchasing process · Monitor the operation, improvements and upgrades of company IT systems · Create a positive relationship with the auditing team that is based on trust, openness and integrity · Ensure monthly, quarterly and year-end reporting procedures are in place and operating effectively · Own the budget process and associated guidelines - coordinate the development of the annual budget with all departments, approving finance plans and budgets with the board · Provide the Managing Director and other members of the executive management team with financial forecasts and pro-active analysis to enhance performance and improve commercial outcomes · Manage relationships with relevant stakeholders (the shareholders, the client, auditors, banks, external partners, regulatory authorities, etc.) · Develop a reliable cash flow projection process and reporting mechanism that includes minimum cash threshold to meet operating needs CONDITIONS · Based in Dubai (United Arab Emirates) · Starting date: February 2021 EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES REQUIRED · Fluent English. French is a strong plus · At least 15 years’ experience as a Finance Director with at least 5 years in an international organization (industrial/engineering) · MBA in Finance, Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant preference · A history of building trust with operational managers at all levels through active engagement and positive, business focused interactions. Demonstrates strong experience in working collaboratively and cross-functionally · Excellent communication and negotiation skills as well as relationship management skills, ideally gained in a multi-lingual, international environment and contractual experience · Demonstrates a high degree of analytical skills and the ability to be both structured and flexible · Strong interpersonal skills allowing him to successfully develop and lead the Finance function · Experience of delivering excellent outcomes across the full breadth of finance accountabilities - corporate governance, financial reporting, business control, internal auditing, etc.
