Chief Product Officer

Job Description : CHIEF PRODUCT OFFICE NIGERIA FOR E LOGISTICS/FINTECH The Chief Product Officer (CPO) and Product Team are responsible for defining the Product vision, strategy, and experience training from end-to-end across eSalons portfolio of brands in all markets. As the head of the entire Product Organization, the CPO will drive and oversee Product ownership, management, and implementation, and the user interface and experience (UX / UI). This group is responsible for all aspects of what the consumer sees and experiences. It understands outcomes, conversion, lifetime value, engagement, and the overall feedback loop with the consumer to ultimately improve the experience and grow the business. The team also acts as the bridge between the software developers and the Brand team and other functional groups in the organization. Location : Lagos , Nigeria , CTC : Lucrative Title : CPO Who? is looking for a leader that is capable of: · Define the product vision, strategy, design, implementation, and innovation to deliver value to both the consumer and business. · Translate the product strategy vision into action by executing on business case development, competitive analysis, product-market fit, product differentiation, and serve as the voice of success (and failure) metrics. · Adoption of products by both internal and external stakeholder · Drive product enhancements for existing brands and manage the launch of new ones. · Oversee a team of Product Managers,, and UX / UI Designers and Testers (QA) and Developers (in a vertical agile organization). · Work with the team on defining tech requirements and supplying detailed instructions on how features should function including the use of wireframes, and more. · · Work with Vertical business heads to ensure the success of each of their verticals including ongoing improvements to life-time values (LTV), retention rates, and other KPIs. · Other duties as assigned. Desired · 15+ years experience operating within a product management capacity including development of new products and managing product portfolios. · 5+ years’ experience managing and building product managers/owners. · Experience with UX / UI Design, Testing methodologies and Development methodologies · Demonstrative metrics-driven mindset, using and generating thoughtful data analysis to inform decisions that balance the needs of customers, using data to validate those decisions. · Must have knowledge and passion for a “Developer-Friendly” product environment. · Exhibit strong leadership and management competencies, including managing and mentoring all groups within the Product Team. · Strong requirement documentation to help the Tech team build out the website and client questionnaires. · Strong data and analytical skills to understand the D-to-C feedback loop. Required · A strong product background is highly required. · Should have done atleast 2-3 full lifecycle product development (ideation to end of life) · Should have strong experience in working and implementation of Agile Framework and tools · Strong stakeholder management and communication skill · Experience in understanding of revenue implication of product development along with budgets · Good to have experience in security, compliance and audits · 10 years’ experience in product design with significant experience in technology platform · Experience working in product heavy companies · 5 years managerial and team leadership experience · 3 years Start-Up experience · Excellent verbal and written communication. · Ability to delegate responsibilities efficiently. · Extensive subject matter expertise in mobility, Supply chain or logistic solutions * Required Education Master’s degree in Computer Science or similar or extensive related experience
